David McDonald is the chief operating officer and president of OSI Group. Previously, McDonald served as firm’s project manager. Additionally, David McDonald serves as the chairman of the North American Meat Institute. Since December 2008, he has been serving as an independent director for Marfrig Global Foods S.A. He started serving in this position after Marfrig Frigorificos e Commercio de Alimentos acquired OSI Group’s operations in Brazil and Europe. McDonald is a member of the board of directors of OSI Group. Moreover, he serves as OSI International Foods Pty Limited’s director. McDonald is an alumnus of Iowa State University where graduated which his undergraduate degree in animal science.
In 2012, OSI Group, a leading global food processing firm celebrated 20 years of running its operations in China. OSI Group launched its food processing business in Beijing in 1992 by supplying McDonald’s with food products. For more than 20 years, OSI Group has grown with China’s economy.
