An English businessman, Greg Secker recently had an interview with Lynn Fosse who is the Senior Editor at CEOCFO Magazine. He described himself as a “why not person” and not a “why person”. Greg studied agriculture and food sciences while at school but later made a leap to finance. He told CEOCFO Magazine that he created and sold computers during his time in the university. This made him understand how to code in older programs and also ended up creating a 3D interactive model about a follicle’s fluid dynamics. He later on got a job at the Thomas Cook Financial Services where he came up with the Virtual Trading Desk.
Greg Secker told CEOCFO Magazine that his interest in foreign exchange peaked while serving at the Thomas Cook Financial Services. He borrowed 5,000 pounds and was able to turn it into 60,000 pounds within a year. In order to be successful, Greg says that one has to adopt certain core principles, stick to the trading plan, be disciplined and adopt a very risk-managed approach. Greg Secker now shares his skills and experience in trading by speaking to people. He has spoken at the Wealth Expo in US, the Success Summit Congress and the National Achievers Congress among others.

Greg Secker is the founder of the Greg Secker Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 2010. Greg graduated from the University of Nottingham where he studied Agricultural and Food Sciences.
Greg Secker is the recipient of the British Telecom Award for Innovation in E-commerce. He got this award in 1998 after he created an online forex trading platform known as the Virtual Trading Desk. Greg became the President at the Mellon Financial Corporation at the age of 25. He left the company in 2003 and went on to become a full-time forex trader.
